The greatness of the scorched
Abandoned in the shadow of a dark forest, under the very foundation of a cemetery, faceless and with numerous traces of past torture, the Last Giant of Drangelic is not happy to meet anyone, neither the living nor the empty. The expansion offers you to add this truly gigantic boss to the basic Dark Souls, which will diversify your passage and reward the efforts of nameless heroes on the path between the fires with useful loot.
Characters from «Dark Souls - Tomb of Giants» and «Dark Souls - Painted World of Ariamis» will now be able to face the boss from the expansion you are on.
Expansion features
- A huge, detailed figure of the megaboss - one of the few in the entire series that is truly impressive in its size. Miniatures of this size and detail have no place in a box, and since painting the Last Giant can be a pleasure in itself, PlayTale strongly advises you not only to play with the add-on, but also to join the modeling hobby.
- Special boss arena tiles - without any shelter from his abilities... Although, he would have caught up with you in two steps anyway!
- All the necessary cards and unique boss treasures - because all efforts should bring rewards!
Game features
Let`s note a few key mechanical advantages on the way to dim locations to battle giant bosses.
- Programmed enemy actions. As with smaller opponents, this applies to movement distance and attack speed, bosses feel truly alive: their gradually playing deck of actions does not shuffle and become stuck after the first round of use, but will react to external conditions, the location of the players and the boss, and his state - stamina and injuries.
- Using stamina. All movements and attacks have their own price, after which the hero needs time to recover.
- Campaign mode. A series of mini-bosse encounters to confront the giant at the end. Each boss, of course, has its own behavior pattern.
- Using bonfires. A defeated hero also loses everything and is reborn near a bonfire. However, in the tabletop version of Dark Souls, the hearth can go out after a certain number of uses, after which the hero will no longer be able to return.
