A hellish boss on wheels
The rumble of a chariot echoes off the dull stones. You can`t hear the horses` breathing, but you can hear them approaching: the Executioner`s Chariot is coming your way! The expansion adds one of the special bosses with its action cards, detailed miniature, and victory prizes to your base game.
Characters from «Dark Souls - Tomb of Giants» and «Dark Souls - Painted World of Ariamis» will now be able to face the boss from the expansion you are on.
Expansion features
- The massive boss miniature is divided into two figures: the Executioner`s Chariot and his pair of horses.
- But before you tackle the boss, first deal with the two necromancers who will summon...
- 4 skeletons every time you defeat them. Quite a complication to an already difficult boss, isn`t it?
Game features
Let`s note a few key mechanical advantages on the way to the dim locations to battle giant bosses.
- Programmed enemy actions. As with smaller opponents, this applies to movement distance and strike speed, bosses feel truly alive: their gradually playing deck of actions does not shuffle and become stuck after the first round of use, but will react to external conditions, the location of the players and the boss, and his state - stamina and injuries.
- Using stamina. All movements and strikes have their own price, after which the hero needs time to recover.
- Campaign mode. A series of mini-bosse encounters to confront the giant at the end. Each boss, of course, has its own behavior pattern.
- Using bonfires. A defeated hero also loses everything and is reborn near a bonfire. However, in the tabletop version of Dark Souls, the hearth can go out after a certain number of uses, after which the hero will no longer be able to return.
