A game inspired by the culture and history of Puerto Rico

After centuries of oppression, the people of Puerto Rico have gained their long-awaited independence. Local farmers are not only growing produce, but also fighting for political change and developing urban infrastructure. Are you ready to be transported to a turbulent period in the island`s history and witness its revival?

This is an updated version of the classic economic strategy that takes players to the post-colonial period of Puerto Rico`s history. Playing as local farmers, you will have to manage your own plantations, build an economy and develop cities. The game encourages strategic planning and efficient allocation of resources. You will feel like a real entrepreneur in the atmosphere of the warm and hospitable culture of the island.

Gameplay

Each player receives a board with a plot for city buildings, plantations and resources.

The first player receives a Governor card and chooses the area of ​​development of the city for the current round by placing one of the role cards next to his board. All players take turns performing the actions of this role. The player who chose the role receives its privileges.

Among the roles:

• Planter. Helps develop a new plantation.
• Recruiter. Helps recruit new colonists.
• Builder. Helps build buildings.
• Craftsman. Coordinates the collection and processing of crops.
• Trader. Allows you to sell goods on the market.
• Captain. Provides ships for shipping goods across the ocean.
• Traveler. Provides 1 doubloon, but only to the active player.

Grow a variety of crops, from traditional corn to exotic coffee. Exchange your harvest for doubloons to develop production and build new buildings.

To increase production and effectively market your products, build production facilities. And city buildings will bring additional victory points. You will need workers to successfully operate your plantations and businesses!

Game Over

The game will end when one of the following conditions is met:

• The colonists in the reserve run out;
• One of the players has completely built up his plot;
• All victory point tokens have been drawn.

Players earn victory points for the resources they have shipped, for the buildings they have built and their properties. Turn Puerto Rico into a flourishing land and win!
