DESCRIPTION OF MY CAFE: WINTER BOARD GAME

When the frosty days get shorter, your cozy coffee shop turns into a real shelter for visitors looking for warmth and comfort. In the winter version of the board game "My Cafe", we will again have to stand at the bar counter and remember what it`s like to be a professional barista. The board challenges players to keep up with the frantic pace of rush hour and at the same time masterfully prepare special winter drinks.

When you fulfill orders, you will earn precious likes cards and victory points, but if you do not have time to adapt to the whims of demanding customers, you will be charged a fine. The game ends when the order deck runs out or one of the baristas receives five penalties. The winner and the best barista will be the one who most effectively copes with the winter influx of customers.

FEATURES OF THE WINTER VERSION

Fans of the predecessor game will recognize the familiar tension of the crazy cooking marathon style, but the winter edition has several important differences:

• modular playing field. Unlike the fixed structure of the original game, the ingredient tiles can now be placed differently. You can choose from Snowy Day or Windy Day. Thanks to this, each party will have to invent a new movement strategy;
• seasonal drinks. The menu has acquired new items created especially for the winter season;
• component changes. Game components have been thematically updated. Fruits have been added to the ingredients, represented as orange slices, and ice tokens are now shaped like snowmen to better match the winter theme;
• new improvements. With new upgrade tiles in each batch, you can choose from four of the six options available to upgrade your cafe;
• scoring. The counting system has undergone changes. Each favor card now gives +2 points, each activated enhancement gives +5 points, and each penalty card gives -1 point.

MECHANICS

• Contracts - players receive or undertake tasks with certain conditions. Completing contracts earns points, resources or other rewards as required;
• Moving along the grid — the movement of figures or tokens takes place along a clearly defined grid of cells with specified rules for the direction and range of movement;
• Variable game preparation - the initial configuration of the playing field, components or objectives is different each time, so that each game has a different flow.
