Board Game One Card Dungeon
This is a solo dungeon crawler adventure. PlayTale is sure that among avid board game players there will be many fans of this genre.
Map-sized dungeon
The adventurer dice is placed on the stairs closest to the player with a value of "6", which means starting the game with 6 health. In each room it is necessary to defeat from 1 to 4 monsters. Monsters in the game are also represented by dice that show their health level. After completing each room, the player will gain skills that are added to the number rolled on the die.
There are four skills:
- speed, attack, defense, distance.
For example: at the beginning of the game, you already have 1 speed, attack and defense skills. The dice yielded 3.5 and 2, respectively. After distributing the dice, the player adds skills to them and gets the values of speed, attack and defense - 4.6 and 3. After passing each room, the player either increases one of the skills or fully recovers health the hero
Phases of the round
- Getting energy. The player throws 3 black dice and, taking into account the resulting values, places them on the playing field at his discretion. Each of the three dice must be assigned to speed, attack, and defense.
- Adventure Phase. The player spends speed and attack points to move and damage monsters. You can do these actions in any order. Straight movement costs 2 speed points and diagonal movement costs 3 speed points. You cannot stand on a cell with a monster. To attack a monster, you need to be within range, to reduce the monster`s health you need to have the number of attack points equal to its defense. At the beginning of the game, the player`s range is two, which means that he can only attack in a straight line for 1 square, but during the game this range expands, including the ability to attack diagonally.
- Move the monster. Each monster must get as close as possible to the hero, using speed points.
- Monster Attack. Calculate the total attack of all monsters within reach and deal damage to the hero equal to the amount of attack divided by the number of defense points. For example, 12 attack points against 7 defense will deal 1 damage.
End of the game
The game "Pocket Dungeon" includes 12 difficulty levels, each of which increases the power of the monsters, and in the last level of the dungeon, the hero will fight with three monsters for the main artifact - the scepter of M`Gaf-in. The game ends in two ways:
- The hero`s health drops to zero.
- After successfully obtaining the artifact after 12 rounds, the hero is released from the dungeon and receives maximum strength and power.
