This is a card game about discoveries, ideas and inventions that can influence the course of history. At the beginning of the game, of course, everyone will invent the wheel for luck. But what will the unbridled thirst for development lead to depends only on your strategic thinking, because here we are not used to relying on luck alone!
The author of the game has put all of human history into this small box, where you will find eleven decks of eras corresponding to one or another time period: prehistoric times, antiquity, the age of great geographical discoveries are gradually replaced by modern and postmodern trends and so on, until we reach what our civilization has achieved as of now. And maybe we will take another step forward! Cards create an incredible number of combinations, and sometimes you can cancel all your opponent`s attempts to win with one successful move.
HOW TO PLAY
As we have already mentioned here, cards differ in color and belonging to a particular era. But in general, each of them is unique, because it has its own dogma effects. Who knows what they will lead to? Requirement effects are directed at opponents. Effects that are not a requirement move your progress forward.
For example, you can say: «I DEMAND that you exchange the most valuable card from your point pile for the least valuable card from my point pile!», — and opponents will do so if they fall under the influence of this dogma of yours. Oh yeah — when you declare a dogma, all players compete for the right to join or submit. If you have more than certain symbols — you dictate the conditions; if not — you will have to fulfill someone else`s will.
As you form your civilization, you will lay out cards in the playing area in front of you, distributing them into piles by color. Depending on how you unfold the color: left, right, up or diagonally, it depends on how many corresponding symbols you get, and whether you can counteract the action of your opponent`s dogma.
Each action brings new cards that you will count as points, add to the playing area or receive as achievements that symbolize the peaks of human progress. Collecting them — is the main goal of everyone, but there are several ways to win: through achievements, by the number of victory points, through the special effects of certain cards, or simply when the rest of the opponents are out of the game.
The game is known for the fact that even one card can change everything. Someone triggers an effect that takes away your achievements, another forces you to throw half of your civilization into disrepair — and you thought you could predict in advance? So each game will be as volatile as human history with its wars, breakthroughs, and failed experiments.
