This is a semi-cooperative game set in the post-apocalyptic world of «Horizon», where humanity has returned to the Stone Age, and giant robot monsters are roaming around. The tabletop version features stunningly detailed figures and a huge attention to video game lore in its adaptation.
Robot Dinosaurs
In the base game, you will face a series of encounters on the way to the main boss. Participants will choose a representative of one of the tribes of the game world and compete for the most glory points, which will bring the expected victory. However, the game also has a cooperative mode, because if two participants are temporarily eliminated from the game during one of the battles, everyone loses.
Game Features
Here are just a few of the features of this semi-cooperative game in a future world where humanity has fallen due to its own technology.
- The action deck of each participant is also his ammunition supply, arsenal of items, and health points, because every time a hero is wounded, the player must discard one card.
- Improving hunter skills takes place on the entire skill tree on the player`s tablet. Heroes of different tribes have different basic abilities and equipment, but the element of improvement adds even more variety.
- The crafting and improvement system affects the supply of cards in your deck. Improvements return a card from the discard pile, and created items enter the deck only after it is refreshed.
- Movement and exploration adjust to the tactics of the players. In addition to tactical battles that include stealth, the use of improvised devices and traps, you will also encounter random events and finds.
- The final confrontation will be a fight with the main boss, which will bring the most victory points. However, you shouldn`t rely solely on fighting him, as the previous encounters are no less valuable overall, and if you drop out of the battle during a boss encounter, you won`t get any glory points at all.
