The Fellowship of the Ring remains true to its mission, although the paths of friends diverge. Merry and Pippin, captured by cruel orcs, are looking for a chance to escape. Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli pursue the enemy, finding themselves in the heart of the legendary Battle of Helm`s Deep. Meanwhile, Frodo and Sam step by step head towards the dark lands of Mordor, entrusting their path to the controversial guide - Gollum.
This is a standalone sequel to the cooperative adventure «The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring. The Card Game», which immerses you in the events of the second part of J. R. R. Tolkien`s cult trilogy «The Lord of the Rings». This is a game of bribes with new mechanics and characters, executed in an exquisite stained glass style.
The adventure is divided into chapters, each of which has special rules, tasks and victory conditions, recreating the events of the book. You will meet both familiar characters from the previous game and new characters. Important plot moments are conveyed using fragments of text directly from the novel, which helps to immerse yourself deeper into the atmosphere of Middle-earth.
The release offers various game modes, including solo, for two players and «The Road Runs Again...».
What`s new?
- New characters. Players can take on the roles of heroes and villains from Tolkien`s legendary story «The Two Towers». The player who receives the «White Tower» takes the Aragorn card and the White Tower token. Aragorn starts the first trick.
- Tower Cards. The «White Tower» and «Black Tower» are special cards without a suit. They can only be used if there is no card of the suit. The tower card wins any trick, but if both appear in one trick, the win is canceled.
- Orc Cards. The three «Orc» cards are special cards that never win a trick. They can only be used if there is no card of the suit. If you start a trick with an Orc card — you immediately fail your task and lose the chapter.
- Fatigue Cards. Two "Fatigue" cards are special cards that can only be the first in a trick and have no suit.
