Board Game Loooot

Capture parts of the fjord to achieve ultimate Viking glory! Looot is a simple but thoughtful abstract game with the mechanics of placing meeples and building your own field. 

Game board

On his turn, the player performs:

• placing a viking on the playing field,

And also optional actions:

• capture the building,
• capture a fighter that will give bonus points for a certain resource or building if surrounded by the necessary resources at the end of the game,
• use one of three special shields,
• get a trophy for the strength of your army.

Players take one turn at a time until everyone saves. 

Placing a Viking

Each viking must be placed on an empty hex of the game board next to any other viking or boat. During placement, the player receives the resources of the active hex and places them on his own tablet.

Seizing the building

Depending on the type of building (house, watchtower or castle) next to which the Viking finds himself, the player receives the appropriate tile for his fjord. One Viking is enough to capture a house. By placing a row of Vikings between two watchtowers, the player gains both towers. To "conquer" the castle, you need a group of 4 Vikings.

End of the game

As soon as each player has played all 13 of their Vikings onto the field, scoring begins for:

• buildings and resources,
• completed construction sites and ports,
• trophies.
