Somewhere beyond the forest, shots ring out. A burly Rebel appears on the horizon. Armed to the teeth, he scowls at the forest thickets. Meanwhile, the canopy of the sky goddess soars above him in the sky. The sky goddess asks for the blessings of her ancestors, and then descends to the ground with thunder. She raises her richly decorated staff to strike the enemy with the force of a thousand warriors…
Epic battle in a compact box
This is a series of incredibly compact competitive games in the skirmish genre. Skirmish games – These are boards with direct player interaction, in which each participant controls a separate hero with a set of his special abilities.
However, this game is very different from any other game in the genre: for a duel you will need only 18 cards - 6 cards for both heroes and 6 terrain cards, which form a field with unique locations that affect the capabilities of the fighters. Yes, without figures and a large field, which means you can take this tactical game with you anywhere!
This is the basic edition of the game, which, in addition to character cards, also contains location cards, while the expansions only have additional heroes.
- Leafless Forest - this is a large enchanted forest that covers a remote, mostly unexplored planet. Massive trees, thick moss, vines and a veil of fog hide the secrets of the forest. Wild magic lives here, protected by guardians and spirits.
- Achena - is the personification of cosmic energy. In battle, she draws wisdom from the powerful spirits of her ancestors, which gives her endurance and divine strength. To defeat her means to defeat death itself, for what could be deadlier than a living goddess?
- The harsh Rebel has seen better days, but that will not stop him. Cunning and quick-witted, he avoids fair combat. The best battles - those that end with a single shot from afar. This way there is less fuss.
Basic concepts
- Warriors. These are the characters controlled by the players. The main warriors are called heroes.
- Helpers. Warriors who help some heroes.
- Battlefields. Each set of locations forms a battlefield. It contains properties and effects (directions, bonuses and dangers) that warriors can use during battles.
- Hero card sets. Each player uses a hero card set, which consists of warrior cards, health and properties.
- Attack. A warrior can attack one or more enemies.
- March. A warrior moves the specified number of cells (or a shorter distance) according to the movement rules.
- Push. A warrior moves any other warrior (ally or enemy) the specified number of cells (or a shorter distance).
Gameplay
To win, you must reset the opponent`s hero`s life to zero.
On your turn the player must choose and perform two different actions:
- Move. Move the hero and his assistant – both or separately, as desired.
- Activate. Activate an ability on one of the active cards and exhaust it – flip it over to mark it as no longer active.
- Apply Coat of Arms Initiative. Choose one of your prepared action cards and activate it without applying the properties indicated on the card. Instead, you apply the coat of arms initiative of that card.
- Refresh. Restore exhausted cards.
