A fast-paced cooperative microgame for 1-2 players, illustrated by renowned artist Vincent Dutre.
Cooperative logic microgame
The goal of this abstract game is to lay out 2 identical squares of 3 by 3 cards each. At the beginning of the game, all 18 cards are shuffled. 1 random card is set aside. Each player takes a certain number of cards from the deck into their hand (3 or 4 cards, depending on the level of difficulty).
Game play
Players can share information regarding their ability or willingness to play a card. The active player lays out a card in any square, and their partner follows the instructions on that card.
Each placed card must be orthogonal to at least one of the cards in the square. The cards must be placed in the square according to the instructions on them (in the upper left corner) and form a common pattern.
At the end of the turn, the players replenish their hand with cards. Then they decide who goes next. Any player can make several moves in a row.
Winning and losing
Solo play
In solo mode, one player forms two hands, dealing 1 face-down card and 2 face-up cards to each hand. Each hand is considered a partner of the other hand. When placing a card in a square, the player reveals one of his partner`s face-down cards. He then follows the instructions on the laid card for his partner.
