Board Game King of Tokyo - Duel
Epic Dice Battle
The streets of Tokyo are shaking with a fierce battle of the most powerful. These two are ready to show the crowd who will be called the Lord of the City.
The playing field of the duel game has two tracks - glory (support of the crowd) and destruction (devastation of the city). The strategy is based on dragging the markers to your side.
For the final battle, two of six unique monsters are available to choose from: Gigasaur, Xenoid, Space Penguin, Mecha Dragon, Cyberkitty and King.
Player`s turn order:
- Roll the dice, rolling any number up to three times,
- Play the results on the dice: attack the opponent, heal health, get energy tokens, move the glory or destruction marker to your side, activate the monster`s superpower.
- Buy cards for energy tokens, or get one such token instead.
- If necessary, activate card effects.
Drag markers influence
Each card has a permanent or one-time effect. Some cards have excitement symbols that allow you to take and place the corresponding token on any free space on the board. Whenever you move a glory or destruction token to a space with a excitement token, play its effect.
The most amazing trick is the two effects on the card — the placement of the token and the action of moving the token, which allows you to get the excitement effect immediately. In addition to the usual additional actions, among the excitement tokens there are effects of shortening the path, as well as lengthening the path, which is always begging to be played on the opponent`s side.
King of the Territory
The game can end in three ways:
- the health of one of the monsters has dropped to zero
- both markers on the playing field are in the attention zone of one player
- one of the markers was successfully dragged to the winning division of one of the players
