A brilliant cube puzzle with the mechanics of "roll & write", which should definitely be in the collection of any self-respecting board gamer, and especially a solo fan.
"Throw and write down" with tricky combos
It`s very simple. We roll multi-colored cubes and, depending on the values that have fallen out, fill in the corresponding cells on the sheet. We complete the rows and get bonuses that allow us to roll the cube again, use an additional cube or fill in another cell. If we`re lucky, we start a chain reaction. After the end of the last round, we calculate the final result.
How to play?
Before the start of each of the first four rounds, players receive different bonuses. Participants take turns. The active player rolls six cubes. He chooses one die, places it in a special cell in the used dice section, makes a mark on the sheet, discards (sends to the plate) the dice with lower values, and flips the remaining dice.
He does the same when choosing the second and then the third die. If the player discards too many dice with lower values in the first stage, the dice will not have to be chosen in the second and third stages. And this is bad, because the more dice a player uses in his turn, the better.
The other (passive) players choose one die from the plate and make corresponding marks on their sheets. They can choose the same die. Then the turn passes to the next player. The round ends when all participants have played one at a time.
Playing field
The sheet is divided into five colored areas:
The white cube is a joker, it can be used as a cube of any color.
Bonuses allow you to fill in a cell of the specified color, roll the cubes or select an additional cube. There is also a fox bonus that increases the multiplier.
Scoring
The number of rounds depends on the number of participants. After completing the last round, players count the victory points they have scored.
The smallest amount for the area is multiplied by the number of received foxes. Then all the results are added up. The player with the most points becomes the winner.
