Characters
In the game features five legendary characters from the Witcher universe, namely:

- Yennefer. A powerful sorceress from Wengerberg with hair the color of raven wings, smelling of lilac and gooseberry, and an obsidian star studded with diamonds around her neck, which is a powerful magical artifact.
- Landflower. Bard, poet and romantic, Geralt`s loyal friend and constant companion. Although he has a strange talent for getting into trouble and finding trouble, his flair for music and poetry cannot be denied.
- Ciri. A skilled witch with ashen hair and the ability to travel through time and space, daughter of the Emperor of Nilfgaard and a Cyntrian princess, the last bearer of the Elder Blood.
- Vesemir. The oldest witch on the continent, master of the Wolf School of Witchcraft, mentor of Geralt. Despite his age, Vesemir is very strong and energetic, which makes him an excellent fighter.
Stories
The game offers you to rewrite in your own way three cult stories of Andrzej Sapkowski from the collection "The Last Wish", namely:
- "Striga". The King of Temeria Foltest summoned you to the castle in Vizim, which inhabits a striga - a bloodthirsty monster that was once, before the curse, a princess - Foltest`s daughter... Will you try to remove the spell? Will you listen to the pleas of the residents of the capital and destroy the red-haired monster? The choice is yours...
- "Lesser evil". In Blaviken, you come across an old acquaintance - the wizard Stregobor, who tells you about the curse of the Black Sun and offers to kill a princess named Renfree, because he sincerely believes that she will bring the inevitable death of our world. Renfree, on the other hand, has completely different beliefs - she considers Stregobor and other wizards to be monsters, and is going to offer him the Tridam ultimatum. Tensions are rising, and innocent lives are at risk... Whose side will you take?
- "The edge of the world". In search of work, you find yourself in a town terrorized by a mysterious "devil", whose antics have already disgusted the local residents. Discover the hidden truth and find out what exactly is behind the antics of the so-called "devil", because the situation turns out to be much larger than it seemed at first glance...
Basic mechanics
- Card Draw. During the card draw phase, players strategically select cards from the playing field based on factors such as colors, symbols, bonuses, and even the order of moves in the upcoming round.
- Hand management. The next level of gameplay depth is hand management. Participants simultaneously play two cards from their hand, creating special combinations that reflect the actions of the characters.
- Story Branching. After three turns, when three fate tokens are placed on the board, the story unfolds, opening new uncharted territories. Players gain victory points and experience needed to learn special skills.
Game Overview
Before starting the game, make general preparations and special preparations for the story you have chosen. Each story has a deck of numbered cards grouped into three sections. By turning over these cards, you will read the plot and apply game effects, and at the end - end the story with one of the epilogue options. To start the game, turn over the first story card and read the introductory text.
There are two active symbols in each story section. Each section (game round) consists of three moves, and each move - of the following steps:
- Taking Cards. Following the initiative order determined during the game setup, each participant draws two cards from the playing field into his hand.
- Playing Cards. Each player chooses two cards from his hand and places them face down. Once all players have chosen their cards, each player reveals their chosen cards and adds them to their row. The cards, like the tokens in the game, depict various symbols that are needed to determine how the story progresses.
- Placing a Destination Token. Players count the number of active symbols on their cards and tokens and, depending on which symbol is greater, place a destination token on the chapter card with that symbol.
After the third turn played, the chapter ends. The active symbol with the most destination tokens becomes the main character - each player scores victory points based on the number of such symbols on their cards and tokens. For secondary characters, players score experience points and move the marker on the hero board, unlocking new abilities. Prepare for the next chapter.
After the last chapter, there is a final score calculation and winner determination, as well as one of the possible final scenes of the story.
