"Unmatched: Stars and Stripes" is a release of the "Unmatched" series of asymmetric duels, dedicated to historical and folk heroes of America. The set honors the contribution of less visible figures to the formation of the state by collecting four historically significant images.
For unrepentant duelists, PlayTale also recommends the game "Zhabzemella" and the "Neiroshima Hex" series of games.
Characters
- George Washington. The contribution of the first president of the United States cannot be overstated, but his success was made possible by thousands of people who dedicated themselves to his work. Espionage. Uses the powers of Culper`s spy network, represented by four trick tokens. They are added to attacks and force the opponent to discard one card from their hand.
- Rosie`s Riveter. A collective feminist image of hard-working women who supported the country from the inside by working in factories during World War II. Rosie`s assistant is Wendy the welder. Liberty XK-II body armor. Rosie`s suit of armor is equipped with four unique devices that are activated by card effects.
- John Henry. The folk hero is a truck worker who defied a steam storm as a sign of resistance to heartless industrialization. Hammerman. Places up to 10 track tokens on the field during the game. When John Henry moves due to maneuvers or card effects, cells with track tokens do not count towards the number of moves.
- Wyett Earp. The symbolic figure of the Wild West, famous for his participation in the famous thirty-second shootout in 1881 in the O.K. Corral". Side by side with him is Doc Holliday. Skirmish. When Wyatt Earp or Doc Holliday attacks and wins the fight, you can take an additional card, gain an additional attack action, or move the fighter one space.
Game board
The basic rules of Unmatched remain unchanged. On each turn, players take any two actions—maneuver (take a card and move fighters), feint (play a feint card), and/or attack (attack an enemy fighter). To win, you need to reduce the life reserve of your opponents to zero.
