Legendary battle of Japanese soldiers
This is the release of the popular "Unmatched" asymmetric dueling card strategy series, dedicated to the land of the rising sun. It contains two characters - legendary Japanese fighters, namely Oda Nobunaga and Tomoe Gozen.
Oda Nobunaga was a daimyo of the Oda clan who led them against other clans in the War of Japanese Unification in the 1500s. Tomoe Gozen was an onna mushe - one of the rare women of the bushi class who fought side by side with the samurai.
If you like board games with a Japanese theme, PlayTale also advises you to pay attention to the games "Senjutsu. Battle for Japan" and "Hanamikoji".
Characters
Master Strategist. Other friendly fighters in Oda Nobunaga`s zone add +1 to the value of their battle cards played.
Surrounding. The effects of some Oda Nobunaga cards are activated when an enemy fighter is surrounded. An enemy fighter is considered surrounded when it is adjacent to two or more fighters under your control (Oda Nobunaga or his honor guard).
Catch up attack. With her special ability, Tomoe Gozen deals 1 damage to an enemy hero who leaves her zone and moves elsewhere. This effect is activated every time the opponent`s hero leaves the Tomoe zone - it doesn`t matter how it happens or where the hero ends up afterwards.
Game board
The basic rules of Unmatched are unchanged. In order to win, it is necessary to reset the life of the opponent`s hero. Players take turns. During his turn, a player performs any two actions - maneuver (take a card into his hand and move his fighters), feint (play a feint card) and/or attack (attack an enemy fighter, opponents choose attack and defense cards).
