Board Game Trapwords

This is a fun game for a large company, very similar to classic word games like Elias.

In this game, you will describe words so that your team can guess them, but in such a way as not to name the trap words that the opposing team has prepared.

The rules of the game are very simple, but the process itself is very exciting, if you don`t know which words you can`t say. And the logical paths they take to explain the words are sometimes simply amazing. And the further you go, the more the tension increases!

How to play

The game is designed for 2 teams and takes about 30 minutes to play.

As in Elias, each team draws cards with words, but the opposing team must explain this word. Before passing the card to the opponent, the team writes down on a sheet of paper the trap words that the opponent can use when explaining the word. If the opponent (who explains the word) uses one of the words written on the form, the team loses and does not advance further through the dungeon.

The opposing team has no idea what these words are... If you have no idea what words are "traps", it`s like dancing in a minefield when you try to describe the word to your team.

Team members take turns explaining the word until the time in the hourglass runs out. You have to explain one word per round.

The further you advance through the dungeon, the field that is laid out on the table during preparation, the more trap words await you. In addition, you can get curses - special tasks that complicate the game.
