Squadro: A Piece-Racing Game

To win, you must move your pieces to the opposite side of the board and back again before your opponent does. One player uses light-colored pieces, while the other uses dark ones. At the start of the game, players place their pieces in their respective starting positions on their sides of the board.

Gameplay

Players take turns. On their turn, a player moves one of their pieces. The movement distance (number of spaces) is indicated by dots along the edges of the board. Pieces move in a straight line, in the direction their pointed end is facing.

Jumping Over Opponent`s Pieces

If an opponent`s piece blocks the path, the active piece jumps over it to the next space. It is possible to jump over multiple pieces lined up consecutively. Any pieces jumped over are returned to their starting line.

Returning

Upon reaching the opposite edge of the board, the piece turns around.

The winner of the game is the first player to return 4 of their 5 pieces to the starting line (after having visited the opposite side of the field).
