Wooden Chess in a Folding Box (29 х 29 cm)

Undoubtedly, the most famous dueling game of all times and nations. Even if you have a huge collection of different boards from fillers to strategy giants, it does not give you the right to overlook its majesty of the chess board.

Several dogmas

Whites always start. To win, you must kill the opponent`s King. During your turn, you can move only one chip, except for the castling of the king with the rook. Your counters can move either to an empty cell or to an enemy cell. No one but the horse jumps over the chips.

How the figures walk

• King - one square in any direction
• Queen is the most mobile piece, in any direction for any available range
• Tower - horizontally or vertically
• Sagittarius - diagonally
• Horse - letter "G"
• Pawn - moves only forward, and attacks only diagonally, one square. Exception - from the starting cells, each pawn can move immediately two cells forward. When the pawn reaches the opposite side of the playing field, it turns into any other piece except the King.
