Board Game Splendor

One of the best games for collecting sets in the history of board games. It is also known for its luxurious poker chips, which are used instead of precious stones - emeralds, sapphires, rubies, diamonds, onyxes and gold nuggets.

Merchants in the jewelry market

The participants of the game become merchants of the Renaissance era. They fight for prestige points in the jewelry market.

At the beginning of the game, you need to shuffle the development decks separately and reveal 4 cards from each in a row. The noble tiles, taken according to the number of participants, are also laid out in a row. Stacks of chips of different colors are placed next to the market.

Game progress

The participants take turns. The active player takes one action.

Possible actions:

• take 3 stone chips of different colors (except gold chips);
• take 2 stone chips of the same color (except gold chips). There must be at least 4 chips in the stack;
• reserve 1 development card (take it into your hand) and take 1 gold chip;
• buy 1 face-up development card or a personally reserved card. The player gives up the stones indicated on the card, spending the corresponding chips and/or bonuses from his cards. Gold is a joker, it can replace any stone.

The chips are kept face up. At the end of the turn, the player must not have more than 10 chips. Extra chips will have to be returned to the stacks.

The player can have a maximum of 3 reserved cards in his hand. Reservation is the only way to get gold.

A player receives a noble tile if their development cards have the required bonuses.

End of the game

The game ends when a player scores 15 or more prestige points. Participants who have not yet moved in the current round are given the opportunity to do so. Everyone then counts the prestige points on their development cards and noble tiles. The player with the most points wins.
