Pandemic: On the brink is an important complement to the pandemic desk. New roles and events will significantly diversify the game process. Players are offered three new game modes - "Virulent Strants", "Mutation" and "Bioterorist". In addition, the supplement contains all the necessary components for the fifth player. Will it be interesting? Playtale does not doubt it.

virulent strain

In this mode, a virulent strain cards are used instead of an epidemic. When the first such map, a disease that dominates the field, becomes a virulent strain during the party. It will be very difficult to cope with this disease. The negative effects of many new epidemic cards relate to virulent strain.

mutational disease

The game is added heel, purple disease, mutation cards and mutation events. Now, to win the game, you need to either invent the cure for all diseases or invent the medicine from four, and remove purple dice from the field. To invent medicine for purple disease, you need to lose five cards of cities of any color - at least one of these cities should be a purple dice (s).

bioterorist

In this mode, normal players oppose bioterorist-overlord. The bioterorist walks after each of the players. In his course he can take up to two actions:

• take a card from a log of disease;
• move to a neighboring city;
• Move to some city with a charter or direct flight by dropping either a card of the current city or a destination map;
• Add a purple disease to the current city;
• Place a dice in a remote city by dropping the appropriate card card;
• Destroy the Research Station by dropping the appropriate disease card;
• escape from under arrest by dropping some card.

Bioterorist moves the card hidden, recording its route. If he finds himself in one city with another player, his chip appears on the field. Bioterorist can be arrested if the player has actions left.

Normal players win when inventing medicines for all diseases or inventing medicines from four and eliminating all purple cubes. The bioterorist wins if normal players are not successful. It loses when purple disease disappears.
