The expansion pack for the comprehensive zoo design board "Ark Nova" will add unique marine animals to your enclosures.
The box contains alternative boards and action cards, new zoo cards, special enclosures – small and large aquariums, new tokens, individual wooden counters and player tokens in the form of animals. Some of the expansion pack components replace the corresponding ones from the base game.
Add new enclosures, buildings and pavilions, as well as bonus tokens and cards to the corresponding stacks of the base game. Use the new association field, new universities and an additional bonus token for the reputation track. Players receive 2 alternative action cards at the beginning of the game instead of the two standard ones.
Construction of aquariums
All aquariums in the zoo must be placed next to a body of water. The zoo can accommodate 1 large and 1 small aquarium, which are considered a body of water, but cannot be placed next to each other.
The size of the enclosure and the number of cubes that need to be placed in the aquarium are indicated on the marine animal card.
Reef inhabitants
Playing a marine animal with a coral symbol will immediately activate all inhabitants of this type in the zoo. And cards with a wave symbol will stimulate market updates when they are opened.
This addition will delight fans of the game with new action cards with interesting features and powerful effects.
