The familiar — the guardian of this knowledge — has been tasked with restoring the library to its former glory, and he desperately needs your help! As the most skilled wizards (who have been left with no choice), you must combine random pages into powerful spells to restore the balance of power in this legendary place...

This is a magical family game in which you will restore the library by building words. Choose a character with a unique ability and try to get rid of cards from your deck and hand as quickly as possible by forming them into words, enlist the help of a Familiar and use magic effects that will be a useful addition to your imagination and ingenuity! In this game, every word has enormous power…

The game is ideal for cozy gatherings with friends or family, and the fast games and extremely beautiful design make you want to play again and again.

Game progress

Each player receives a character card, joker tokens and their own deck of letter cards, which must be shuffled and laid out in front of them with the top five cards face up - this is your hand. In the center of the table, place the Familiar tablet, three different-colored Balance of Power decks, and three random Familiar letter cards.

After that, all that`s left to do is choose a word category and determine the first player. You can start playing!

Players take turns clockwise. The active player performs one of two possible actions:

• Make a word. Make any word with three or more letters, using the letter cards from your hand, the joker tokens, and one of the available Familiar cards. Depending on the length of the word you make, you draw a certain number of cards from your deck into your hand, and two of your neighbors add balance of power cards to their decks according to the information on the memory card.

• Save. Draw three cards from your deck into your hand.

The longer the word you make, the more complex cards will appear in your opponents` decks! And if you used a Familiar card in your word, you can also apply the ability on the selected card indicated on its tablet.

On your turn, you can also play any number of magic cards, regardless of the action you decide to take. Magic cards have special powerful effects that will help you upgrade your powers, take additional cards into your hand, find the card you need in the deck, or restore your joker tokens (jokers allow you to replace any card with the letter you need).

The game features eight unique characters, each with their own playstyle and tricks on the way to victory. For example, the Amazon always has a spare letter «A», the Mage applies the effects of magic cards twice, and the Dragon never gets complex balance of power cards.

End of the game

As soon as any player draws the last card from their deck or the balance of power deck, the players end the current round of turns. The player with the fewest cards left in the deck and in their hand wins!
