Do you remember the fable about the race between the hare and the tortoise? So, forget everything she taught you. This race is more like a raging boulder, rushing through chaotic movements and unpredictable twists and turns. No one knows whether confident runners, leisurely but persistent runners, or even a banana will win on this field.

Magic Athletes is a remake of the iconic Japanese racing game, completed by Richard Garfield. You assemble a team of four completely different eccentric runners who, despite everything, will try to reach the finish line first. Each of the 30 unique characters has a special ability with which they are ready to claim victory: some will knock others off their feet, some will move thanks to tricks, and some will simply eat opponents.

Once you`ve chosen your representative, it`s all up to chance: you`ll roll the dice and watch events unfold rapidly. Because of this, the game is easy to learn and play for any company.

Unbalanced powerful skills will provoke crazy combinations and really funny situations on the field. If being in absurd situations is your element, then this track will not scare you with its competitiveness.

The base game was released back in the 2000s, and the new edition is improved with a bright design and 16 new characters. It immediately regained its former glory and broke into the top of the best patygames according to BGG.

Game flow

Players form their team of four athletes, each of whom will represent you in one of four races. When everyone has chosen a runner for the current round, the figures are placed on the "Start".

Players take turns rolling the die and moving their athlete the appropriate number of spaces on the track. This is your main move.

The athlete who reaches the finish line first gets the gold. When the silver medalist finishes, the race ends.

End of the game

After the fourth run, count the results. The player with the most points leads the best team!
