Board Game Candy Hunters

This is a fast-paced abstract strategy game with a light Halloween feel. Here you send kids from neighborhood houses in search of sweets, build patterns from tiles and try to circle each other`s fingers with the help of mischievous ghosts. A small game box will give you a traditional Halloween hunt for treats.

How to hunt for sweets?

Each turn consists of four simple steps:

1. Place a house tile.
2. Move the ghost — it can scare the child and move it to the next cell.
3. Score the pattern — if the pattern on the field matches the card, you get points and sweets. Then exchange the pattern.
4. Place your «sweet hunter» (child) on a free tile.

The game lasts 6 rounds and takes about half an hour.

Want to make the game more difficult?

Add ghostly diagram cards! To do this, shuffle them and secretly deal 1 such card to each player. Put the rest of the ghostly diagram cards in a box — they will not be needed in this game.

Treats or punishments?

As on Halloween, during the game you never know whether something pleasant or scary awaits you around the turn:

• Ghosts can disrupt a perfectly laid plan or, conversely, help you take an advantageous position.
• If the opponent`s child is on the tiles of the combination — she gets a bonus along with you.
• Ghosts that fall into the pattern are awarded horror penalty tokens.

As a result, you need to not only see your options, but also take into account other people`s markers.
