Board Game Penguins Huddle Up

Harsh winter in Antarctica

Four families of penguins and penguin chicks of four colors gather in groups on ice floes to hibernate. 

The goal of the game is to be the first to unite the family of your color into a flock. At the expert level, the victory conditions are added to the leveling of penguins by height - all adult penguins must stand directly on the playing field, and the chicks - on the ice.

Preparation for the game

1. Prepare the field – place ice blocks on it so that each one covers three ice squares.
2. Each player gives all the penguin chips of the chosen color to his neighbor on the left. Players take turns placing the opponent`s chips on the ice areas or ice blocks of their own choice.

Game progress

• During his turn, the active player can either move one penguin to any adjacent area, or jump with a chip over one or more penguins to an empty space.
• Jumps are possible in a straight line for any distance.
• If a penguin stops on a square with a hole – he dives under the ice and emerges in another area with a hole.
• The player who manages to group his entire penguin family together before the others wins.
