Board Game Wingspan - Oceania Expansion

This is the second expansion to the board game "Wings", dedicated to the diversity of birds of Australia and New Zealand, which contains a lot of new components, including cards, dice, new boards and of course even more eggs!

New cards and tokens

The expansion offers to expand your knowledge of the birds of the Pacific region. 95 new cards of different species with unique abilities, beautiful illustrations and a mini-reference about real prototypes will make your game even more rich and diverse. In addition, the game features five new bonus cards that allow you to take a new look at the familiar gameplay. Also, your playing style can be influenced by new end-of-round goal tokens. In the expansion you will find four double-sided tokens that can be mixed with the previous ones and form different sequences each time.

New type of food and replacement of components from the base game

In the Pacific climate, birds receive another new type of food. The birds that live there can feed on Nectar. In the game itself, this type of food base becomes a "joker" and can now replace any other type of food. However, Nectar is a final unit. Having spent it, the player is obliged to put it in his own end. At the end of the game, the Nectar spent will also be taken into account when calculating victory points.

In connection with this feature, the game add-on offers players to replace the player boards (now they can find a new type of terrain and tips on using Nectar), as well as five food base cubes.

Automa

Another significant addition to the game is the new rules for Automa. In the add-on, you will find two new rule options that allow you to play solo or organize a cooperative competition with a team against an automatic deck.

This is a great add-on that will not only introduce you to the world of birds of Australia and New Zealand, give you several new mechanics and diversify the components, but also smooth out the controversial points of the base game, allowing you to make the games as different from each other as possible and extremely interesting!
