Board Game Cortex Challenge 2 - Kids

This is an independent continuation of the wonderful educational children`s puzzle game "Cortex" with new tasks for the development of spatial, mathematical and logical thinking.

Participants of the game, first graders and children from six years old, are waiting for new tasks of seven types, as well as the traditional tactile cards, which have become almost the calling card of "Cortex". If you are looking for an interesting game that will allow you to combine the pleasant with the useful, then this will be a very good option.

Battle of children`s minds. Bulls in a lasso and bananas for the Monkey

All task cards, except for tactile ones, are mixed into a common pile. You can start playing. Players open the top card and race to find a solution. The first person to guess covers the card with their hand and gives the answer.

• Is the answer correct? This player takes the card for themselves.
• Is the answer incorrect? The player discards the previously earned card and skips the next round.

A player cannot have more than four cards in front of them. Two cards with the same suit are exchanged for a chip of the same color. If someone manages to collect four chips of different colors, they win the game.

Types of tasks:

• Spatial thinking. Which of the silhouettes is reflected in the mirror?
• Reaction speed. Which color lasso has lassoed more bulls?
• Logic. Which covers form a row?
• Color perception. Find the correctly colored object.
• Oral counting. How many bananas will the monkey eat on the way to the crown?
• Observation. Find the monster that is different.
• Speed ​​of thinking. Search for a suitable figure.
• Tactile cards. The player takes a random tactile card and tries to determine by touch what is drawn on it. Fish scales or bee honeycombs? Tire or raspberry? Dice or keyboard? If the answer is correct, he gets another chip.
