An interesting family abstract about sewing a patchwork quilt.

This is an unusual puzzle game that gives you something to think about. It will appeal to both beginners and experienced players and is great to play with your family. And if you can`t find a partner to play with, you can always play solo.

Tile puzzle

The participants of the game are invited to compete in making patchwork quilts. They will use the patchwork technique. During the game, players receive multi-colored patches and place them on their quilt boards. By creating groups of the same type, they earn buttons and lure seals. At the end of the game, they will also receive points for fulfilling the conditions on the objective tokens.

Before the game begins, participants receive tablets and objective tokens of the corresponding color. The selected objective tokens are placed on the tablets, the rest are returned to the box. Each player draws 2 random patch tokens from the bag.

Game progress

Participants take turns until their tablets are filled with tokens. The active player`s turn consists of two steps.

1. Placing a token on the tablet. The player chooses one of the two patch tokens from his hand and places it in any free space on the tablet.
2. Receiving a new token. The player takes one of the three patch tokens in the market into his hand. The market is replenished with a new token from the bag.

End of game scoring

1. Objective token scoring

Players score their objective tokens. The blue circle indicates how many points a player gets if they meet the color condition or the pattern condition, and the orange circle indicates how many points a player gets if they meet both conditions. The patch tokens surrounding a specific objective token are counted. Players are awarded points for multiple tokens of the same color/pattern or for all 6 tokens of different colors/patterns.

2. Scores for cat tokens

A player gets a cat token if they create a group of tokens of the same color that the cat likes in the specified configuration. The cat tile shows how many points each placed cat token brings.

3. Points for buttons

By creating a group of three tokens of the same color, the player receives a button of the same color. Each button placed on the blanket is three victory points.

The participants add up the points. The player with the most points wins.
