Board Game Inis - Seasons
This is a comprehensive expansion for the board game «Inis», which consists of five modules. Now you can play with five people, and the base game will become even deeper and more varied.
INІS SEASONS - SACRED HOLIDAYS
Players receive season cards. A season token is placed next to the field. Now the gathering phase is completed by the «Sacred Holidays» step. Each season has one holiday - Imbolc, Beltane, Lughnasadh or Samhain. Depending on the season, the effects of a particular Celtic holiday are triggered. The effects are valid for the season, then the marker on the season token moves - and a new holiday comes into effect.
ISLANDS AND HARBORS
A new type of territory appears in the game - islands, as well as a new type of building - harbors. Island tiles can be distinguished by their blue edges. Islands do not join other territories, but are laid out separately.
A harbor token must join only one territory. Harbor tokens cannot be surrounded by other territories, as they must have access to the sea. Territories with harbors are considered neighboring, meaning clans can enter them after the move or retreat action.
THE FIFTH PLAYER - AFROCELTS
Have you ever dreamed of playing with five people? Here are the components for the fifth player - black clans, a challenger token and four new action cards that are shuffled into the appropriate deck.
- Filidis. Allows you to place a filidis token on a common territory and declare peace on it until the end of the season.
- Commonwealth. Allows you to move clans (yours and the selected player) from the common territory to a neighboring one and fight there.
- King and Land. Give an advantage card to a player in the same territory and get a feat token. Or discard an advantage card to get an epic card.
- Clan Friendship. Add one clan to the territory with your clans or add one clan to each common territory with your clans.
KING TOKEN. WHEN PATIENCE IS NOT ENOUGH...
To shorten the game time (especially in a five-player game), a double-sided token from the module "We need a king" is used. At the beginning of the game, it is placed to the side with the title "We Need a King".
- When checking the victory conditions, if there are several contenders with equal achievements, but none of them is a bran, these players receive one feat token each, and the king token is turned over to the "We Demand a King!" side.
- If the token is turned over to the "We Demand a King!" side, the game ends after the current round. No one has achieved the victory conditions? In this case, the bran wins. If there is a tie again without the participation of the bran, all contenders win.
NEW EPIC CARDS
The module consists of fifteen new epic cards. Do you know all the epic cards by heart? Want some variety? Then shuffle the new epic cards into the appropriate deck - and perform tricks that your opponents never dreamed of.
