Board Game 7 Wonders - Duel
Quick card civilization
Participants will become leaders of opposing civilizations and will build cities and wonders of the world. The game lasts three rounds-eras, each era uses its own deck. At the beginning of the round, the cards are laid out in a special way, forming a pyramid, an inverted pyramid or some kind of ziggurat.
Gameplay
Players take turns. The active player takes one available (not covered by other cards) card and chooses one of the draw options:
- Building a building. The player pays the construction cost in resources and/or coins and places the card in his city. Missing resources can be bought from the bank.
- Getting coins. The player discards a card and receives two coins + 1 coin for each yellow card in his city.
- Building a wonder of the world. The player pays the cost of building a wonder of the world and places the current card under the card of the built wonder of the world.
Victory conditions
Military advantage. Shield symbols on built red buildings move the conflict marker towards the enemy. The player immediately wins when the conflict marker reaches the enemy capital.
Scientific advantage. For two identical science symbols on green buildings, the player receives one progress token. A player wins if he manages to collect 6 different symbols on the green buildings and progress tokens.
Civic Victory. If no one has won through war or science, victory points are counted after the third day. Players add up the points on:
- the military track;
- the blue, green, yellow, and purple buildings;
- the wonders of the world built;
- the progress tokens.
Every three unspent coins is another point.
The player with the most points wins the civic victory.
