Board Game Take Time
Details of a single mechanism
The hands of mysterious clocks do not count minutes, but decisions. They test our coherence and trust. Every contribution is important — it is they who create the work of a larger mechanism.
This is a cooperative logic game in which players join forces to complete a series of tasks together. It teaches you to negotiate, plan and act as a single team.
The box contains 40 challenges, to overcome which you will strategically lay out 12 cards around the clock, following special rules. The simple gameplay is combined with a real test of your teamwork. And the atmospheric design and charming design of the components create a cozy space for family leisure.
Gameplay
The game contains 10 sections with 4 clock tasks in each. After you have completed the first section, move on to the next.
Each clock consists of 6 segments, which are associated with specific rules. Some clocks contain a central rule that applies to all segments.
Completing each task consists of three phases:
- Discussion. Players learn the rules of the current clock. Without looking at their own cards, they build a strategy together.
- Placement. After looking at their own cards, players take turns placing cards face down next to the clock segments, following its rules. Communication is allowed only through played cards. The symbols on the reminder token determine the number of cards that players can place face up.
- Disclosure. Check that the sums of the card values in the segments are in ascending order and do not exceed 24. If all placement conditions and tasks are met, move on to the next challenge clock!
If a task is too difficult, you can skip it. Put the clock in the regret envelope and try again later.
When your team successfully completes all 40 tasks, the game is over. You are a great strategist! Open the rebirth envelope and play with the new rules.
