The City of Merchants

The Age of Discovery gave this world countless valuable curiosities and useful inventions, which were simply obliged to fall into the hands of skilled merchants who, from time immemorial, have been traveling these rich lands, never knowing rest.
But every year they all flock to the famous city, located in the middle of the picturesque Valley. It is in the markets of this city that you can buy the most valuable, rarest and most sought-after goods in the world. But they are not what interest the newly arrived merchants. Every year they compete for the right to join the local guild and open their own shop on the central trading square.
No matter which of the unusual peoples of the Valley you represent, use the skills and tricks of each to win the merchant competition!

Gameplay

In the game box, you will find 6 decks of goods and one deck of junk cards. Each of the six main decks has its own advantages and disadvantages. The more successful your combinations are, the more profit you will receive.
At the beginning of the game, depending on the number of participants, randomly or by agreement, select which decks will be in the game. The number of such decks is equal to the number of participants plus one deck. Return all unused decks to the box.
Each player receives 10 cards (1 random card from each deck plus junk cards), shuffles them, forms their own deck, and takes five cards into their hand.
All remaining goods cards form the market deck.
To win, you need to fill your counter with the most valuable goods of the highest quality and in the right quantity. To do this, you have the following list of simple and clear actions available to you.

• Buy a new card from the market. (To do this, you will have to discard other goods cards and/or junk cards from your hand. The latter were created specifically for this action, so give the junkies their due.)
• Play the card, using its effect.
• Place the card on the counter.
• Recalculate. (Discard all cards from your hand and draw new ones.)

The first player to design their stall according to the requirements of the competition will win and join the most respected guild of shopkeepers!

It`s different every time

So, not all peoples of the Valley will participate in each game. At least one deck will always remain in the box. Try all possible combinations to fully unlock the potential of this little game!
