The Art of Borscht
Every Ukrainian house has its own recipe for borscht, and each of them is authentic. Green, Polissya, Crimean Tatar, with pike or smoked pear... You have the opportunity not only to discover various variations of your favorite dish, but also to compete with competitors in the best management of delicious ingredients.
Will your borscht win among the others, will be determined by the victory points collected on the cards.
How to cook the most delicious borscht?
At the beginning of the game, each player receives 3 recipes, from which he chooses one, as well as 5 ingredient cards. In addition to common products, the deck will contain rare, additional and special ones. Players take turns adding ingredients to their culinary masterpiece, or trading or drawing cards.
On your turn, you can only do one of the following:
Delicious!
As soon as one of the players collects all the necessary ingredients for his borscht, his opponents get the right to the last move, without using special cards against that player. Players count victory points for all cards on the collected ingredients and for the cooked borscht recipe card. Players deduct points for products that should not be in their recipe.
And after a sweet victory, be sure to try to cook one of the borschts from the guide that comes with the game.
Griddles!
The game is always unique and unpredictable, because it depends a lot on the playing style of each player and the cards that enter the common market.
For experienced players or a bigger commotion at the game table, we recommend using the mini-add-on, which adds 3-8 random trouble cards to the game, which are mixed into a common deck and activated at the end of the turn of the player who got the greaves. These can be instant or permanent effects that affect all players.
