The Dream of the King of Portugal
King Manuel I has always been known for his passion for building magnificent buildings. His contemporaries claimed that it was not only the desire to leave his name for the ages that drove him. Again and again, like a small child, he was amazed at how such unique creations of human hands come out of stone, sand and wood.
Several of the best architects served the king at once. They were commissioned to build the Summer Palace. Manuel`s unexpected death did not allow grandiose plans to come to life. But you are still able to rewrite history, just open the game box and try yourself in the role of a medieval architect.
Gameplay
The key mechanics of the game were inherited from its predecessor. All decisions of the participants will be made based on the draft of available tiles. The new features will be:
Each round the color of the active tile will change. Not always the new color will be needed by the participants. However, no matter what color you take, you are also obliged to take one active tile. Of course, it doesn`t matter at all whether the colors you decide to take match.
Build the best palace
Each round, players will perform two consecutive actions:
Moving along the winning points track, you will open additional tiles, receiving them as bonuses.
