A fast dice game with a "roll & write" mechanic.
There are two versions of the game - "Railroad Ink - Deep Blue Edition" and "Railroad Ink - Blazing Red Edition", which differ in additional dice.
Building transport routes
At the beginning of the game, participants receive tablets and markers. The game lasts seven rounds. In each round, four path dice are rolled. Players draw the paths that have fallen on their tablets. The paths must connect to exits or to other paths of the same type. Each face is drawn once.
The faces of three cubes depict: a straight highway, a highway turn, a highway T-intersection, a straight railway, a railway turn, and a railway T-intersection. Another cube depicts: an overpass (highway over a railway), a straight station, and a station with a turn. The station allows you to connect a highway with a railway.
Once per round, a player can draw one of the available special paths depicted on the board. After that, the special path is crossed out and becomes unavailable.
Scoring
The game ends after the 7th round. Players receive points for:
Penalties for errors are deducted: each incomplete path is minus one point. The player with the most points wins.
The set includes dice from two additions - «Lava» and «Meteorites». When playing with the addition to the four basic dice two additional dice are added. The game is played according to the usual rules, but at the end points are added for craters or lava lakes.
The game lasts 6 rounds. One meteorite cube indicates the direction, and the other - the distance. Players count squares from the previous place of impact. At the place of impact, the player erases everything that was drawn on it from the cell and depicts a crater.
The meteorite "bounces" from the edges of the board, changing direction to the opposite. If the meteorite falls into a crater, a new crater is drawn on the next cell in the direction of movement. Players can erase craters and draw paths in their place. At the end of the game, participants receive 2 points for each path that leads to the crater.
At the beginning of the game, participants draw volcanoes in the center of their boards. The game lasts 6 rounds. Players must depict at least 1 of the results on the lava cubes. Lava flows must connect. You can draw a new volcano and spread lava from it.
At the end of the game, participants receive 5 points for each completed lava lake and 1 point for each cell of the largest lava lake. Players cancel points for incomplete lava lakes.
