Board Game Unmatched - Houdini vs. the Genie

This is a standalone release of the "Unmatched" series. This is a completely independent addition. The heroes of this addition can be pitted against heroes from any other sets. The set features the famous magician Harry Houdini and the very powerful Genie from the lamp. These heroes will definitely not be superfluous in the collection of a true fan.

Houdini vs. Genie

In the box you will find figurines, an assistant token and decks of the following heroes:

• Master of Releases Houdini. With the help of the beautiful Bess, he will prepare the stage. Then a little distraction and sleight of hand. When you think you have figured everything out, suddenly you will understand — it`s all part of the action! 

By performing a maneuver and IMPROVEMENTS, you can place Houdini on any cell instead of moving.

• The Mighty Genie. Freed from the lamp, he seethes with barely contained rage. This wasn`t some cheap trick. So be careful with your wishes, because in the end he will only grant you death!

At the beginning of the Genie`s turn, you can discard 1 card to gain 1 additional action.

Game innovations

• Improvement tricks. When Houdini performs a maneuver and improves his movement, instead of moving normally, he can move to any available space (without another fighter) on the map. Some Houdini cards also have enhancement bonuses. Whenever you use one of these cards to improve, you activate the enhancement bonus effect. 
• Secret Passages. The battlefield of "King Solomon`s Tomb" features secret passages that fighters can use to move to the desired space faster. A fighter can move from one space with a secret passage to another such space as if they were adjacent. Such a move is considered to move 1 space.

Gameplay

The basic rules of Unmatched have not changed. To win, you must reduce the opponent`s hero`s life to zero. Players take turns moving. On their turn, a player performs any two actions - maneuver (take a card into their hand and move their fighters), dodge (play a dodge card), and/or attack (attack an enemy fighter, opponents choose attack and defense cards).
