Board Game Unmatched - Battle of Legends. Volume One

Asymmetric duel strategy about the confrontation of legendary heroes. This is a reworked version of the game «Star Wars - Epic Duels», which was released back in 2002. Then and now, the author was the master of «legacy» Rob Davio.

Medusa Gorgon vs. Sinbad the Sailor and Alice vs. King Arthur

The base game contains figurines, assistant chips and card decks of such famous heroes as Alice, King Arthur, Sinbad the Sailor and Medusa Gorgon. The unique abilities and characteristics of the fighters are indicated on the hero cards.

During the game, players move their fighters around the battlefield (between cells connected by lines), play trick cards and attack the enemy. To win, you need to reduce the opponent`s life points to zero.

Game progress

Participants take turns. On their turn, a player performs any 2 actions:

• Maneuver. Get the top card from their personal deck and move their fighters a distance that does not exceed the movement range on the hero card.
• Fight. Designate an active fighter and play the corresponding trick card with lightning for them.
• Attack. Designate an active fighter, declare a target on an adjacent cell (connected by a line) and choose an attack card, placing it face down. The opponent can choose a defense card. The cards are revealed simultaneously. By applying effects on cards, the attacker inflicts wounds equal to the attack power on the card minus the defense value on the defender`s card.

When a hero is wounded, the player marks his hit points on the counter.
