Includes new field segments, army figures and leader tablets, rulers and action and diplomacy cards, wonders of the world and victory cards, a new event disc and various tokens. If you want to make the base game even deeper and more varied, try new tactics and strategies, PlayTale advises you to buy this add-on.
New mechanics
- Fort cards appear in the game - a new type of victory card. To complete the achievement on the fort map, you must control the specified number of forts. Forts are defensive tokens. They are considered forests, passability - 3.
- New action lines expand the range of actions by adding cells with the number 1.
- Areas are a new type of control tokens that mark areas with special specialization. Players lay out such tokens when playing progress cards.
- A new type of army figures appear in the game. Now you can attack only while the army is moving.
- Players explore the playing field throughout the game, discovering new territories with armies and caravans. When an army or caravan figure reaches the edge of the playing field, the player uses one movement point to add a new tile to the field.
- Thanks to this add-on, players can choose the forms of government for their civilizations. This can be done when the arrow on the event dial reaches the division with the board forms symbol. The player places an action card in one of the cells numbered 1, and places a board token of the same type as the action card on top.
