Board Game Supermom - Your Priorities

Career or family? A spotless home or an evening with your child? Every mom makes dozens of unasked-for choices every day—and these choices shape her life.

In the show "Supermom," we see all kinds of women: some judged by their career success, others by their parenting, housekeeping skills, or family relationships. Yet, behind every success lies a sacrifice.

This game puts you in their shoes. In each round, you face three unexpected situations from different areas of life: household chores, personal fulfillment, and parenting. You can choose only one top priority.

  Reading a book with your child that they’ve been asking for three nights in a row.
• Household
  Scrubbing the oven, which has become embarrassingly dirty.
• Personal Fulfillment
  Making it to a professional webinar—registration closes in 15 minutes.

The most interesting part comes next: other players try to guess what matters most to you. You’ll discover how your loved ones see you—and whether that matches how you see yourself.

How to Play

1. The round`s host draws one card from each of the three situation decks and reads them aloud.
2. Secretly from the others, they arrange the priority cards "1," "2" and "3"—from the most important situation to the least important.
3. The host announces which priority the opponents need to guess—for example, "1".
4. Players think for 5–10 seconds and simultaneously place their arrow cards on the chosen situation.
5. The host reveals the priority cards. Everyone who guessed correctly earns 1 point.

The game continues until everyone has taken a turn as the host an equal number of times (three times is recommended). The player with the most points wins.

Why it works

The rules fit on a single card, and a game lasts about 30 minutes—but the conversations that follow last much longer. It is not a game about winning, but rather a conversation starter: why did you choose that specific option? Has it always been that way? Do I really come across that way to you?

The 45 double-sided situation cards offer 90 different dilemmas, so repetition doesn`t get boring even after several rounds. The compact box fits easily into a bag—making it convenient to take the game to a friend`s place, the countryside, or on vacation, or simply to pull it out for an evening in the kitchen.
