At the dawn of time, the children of serpent blood ruled the sky, and their undisputed ruler was the Ancient Yig. Creatures with scales and fangs, combining science and sorcery, subdued the will of primitive people.

Their civilization faded, but did not disappear completely. In the forgotten jungles, their temples still stand, covered with moss and silence, where stone remembers more than man can comprehend. In the halls buried underground, a secret rests, and every step into the darkness brings one closer to meeting with a poisonous legacy.

Now, as the time of forgotten knowledge returns, Yig rises from the abyss to once again declare his right to the world. And only by uncovering the terrible secrets of the past will we have a chance to save humanity.

This is an expansion to the epic cooperative game «Eldritch Horror», dedicated to the new Ancient One — the father of the snakes Yigu.

New secret cards for the Ancients from the base game, hundreds of new encounters, and powerful artifacts await you. In the fight against ruthless epic monsters, explorers will have to deal with the poisonous nature of the snakes Yigu.

From now on, explorers risk getting a poisonous bite, being in a state of «Lost in Time and Space», and will also test not only strength or will, but also other skills in battles.

What`s new?

The expansion includes:

• New secrets. To stop the Ancients from reclaiming the world, explorers must uncover new secrets about each of them and delve deeper into their knowledge with new exploration cards.
• New states. The "Poisoned" state is the result of a snakebite, preventing regeneration during rest. And the accumulated energy of the gateway to Other Worlds can cause the "Lost in Time and Space" state, which removes the explorer from the field and deprives them of the ability to move or perform actions.
• A multitude of new artifacts, assets, and spells. Powerful tools will help explorers in their fight against the Ancients.
