Treasure Hunt in the Labyrinth

The game is a plot continuation of the game «Forest - Legend of Manticore». The heroes managed to defeat the terrible Manticore. The Manticore`s lair turns out to be an underground labyrinth with traps and treasures. Players are invited to go into the depths of the cave for precious treasures. The one who gets the most pots of gold wins the game.

Before the game starts, the playing field is filled with random trap tiles (placed face down). Players receive five skill cards needed to overcome traps.

Gameplay

Participants take turns. The active player performs any two actions:

• Exploration. You can open any tile, show it to everyone, try to remember it, and then turn it back over.
• Training. You can get 1 skill card from the deck. A player cannot have more than 6 skill cards.
• Treasure hunting. The player tries to get from the edge of the playing field to the center of the treasure chest. At the same time, he plays at least three skill cards from his hand and opens the same number of trap tiles along the way to the chest. If the played skill cards match the trap tiles, the player takes as many cards from the treasure deck as the traps he has overcome. The player returns two of the received treasure cards to the bottom of the deck. The played skill cards are discarded. If the player fails the attempt by playing the wrong skill cards, he discards one skill card and returns the others to his hand.

End of the game

The game ends when it is impossible to pave a new path from the edge of the treasure to its center because all the trap tiles have already been revealed. The participants reveal the treasure cards and count the pots of gold. The one with the most gold wins.
