Board Game Oriflamme - Alliance

The third game in the series of the already well-known board game "Oriflame", which has won many awards. «Alliance» can be a standalone game or act as an addition to the base game "Oriflame" or "Oriflame - Flame of Intrigue".

Under the Mask of an Ally

This is a tactical card game about intrigue and the struggle for power and the crown. Players act as representatives of influential families who are at war with each other in their desire to take the throne, but at the right moment are ready to put aside their ambitions to create profitable political alliances. However, even small betrayals will hinder strong alliances and the peace of large families.

What`s new?

Players will find 10 new unique types of family cards for various tactical maneuvers and manipulations. In the third episode, players will have the opportunity to form alliances with rivals through diplomacy. Now they will have to balance between aggressive tactics and negotiations. Each card has its own effect, such as an attack or counterattack, a trap, accumulating influence points, or some new cards:

• Diplomat. You can form an alliance with other players.
• Uprising. Two neighboring cards are destroyed, but the player loses an influence point.

Gameplay

1. The game lasts 6 rounds, the results of which are used to calculate influence points.
2. Each player randomly loses three cards from their set of 10 family cards and plays the remaining ones.
3. Each round is divided into two phases:

Planning. Players take turns placing cards in the center of the table to form a line of influence. The card can be placed face up or face down, to the right or left of the previously played cards. The first phase ends when all players have played their cards from their hand.

Activation of cards. In the second phase, the open cards from the influence line are activated one by one. A closed card can also be activated, or left face down, each inactive card accumulates 1 influence point.
