Indian Jewelers` Competition
This is a fast logic game from Ukrainian authors.
At the beginning of the game, the deck of "gems" is shuffled. A square of 5 by 5 cards is randomly formed from it. Players receive three cards from the deck.
Players take turns, clockwise. The active player can:
OR
The player then receives victory points for identical cards in a row: three cards in a row - 3 points, four cards in a row - 5 points, five cards in a row - 7 points. Each subsequent combination after the first brings an additional point. Receiving points, the player moves his chip along the track by the same number of divisions.
The sets of identical cards for which points were received are discarded. In their place are laid out random cards of stones from the deck.
When the deck of gems runs out, cards from the discard pile are mixed into it. The game ends when the deck runs out for the Nth time (where N = number of players). The player with the most points wins.
Game mode "Pearl of the Orient"
At the beginning of the game, participants receive 8 gemstone cards (1 of each type). The cards are laid out in front of the players, forming rows of tasks.
3 more such sets (24 cards) are selected from the gemstone deck. A "pearl" card is added. These cards are shuffled and then laid out randomly - in a 5 by 5 square. The remaining gemstone cards are mixed into the deck. Players receive 3 cards from it.
Players take turns. The active player can:
OR
After this, the task completion stage begins. The player completes the task if he manages to make a row of three identical stones in a row. The "pearl" is considered a joker - a stone of any type. Having completed the task, the player takes a card of the same type from the row of tasks.
The game ends when someone manages to complete all of their tasks. This player becomes the winner.
