Cult of the new flesh

What could be more unpredictable and disgusting than the combination of rebellious AI with whimsical life? Deserter drones that use biomatter as a basis for their manipulation. There is no morality for robots!

The expansion introduces a new special race of aliens to the game - the Cult of the New Flesh. Machines with artificial intelligence, connected to bio-fabric for special abilities. They are unaffected by fire, and neither are their eggs.

Four types of drones with special abilities, cultists that amplify the effects of events, and machine grubs - creeps that seek to create their own queen - the mother brain.

The mother brain feeds on human bodies, using them to improve its own abilities.

During the event phase, all dashes activate and move to the nearest unexplored corridor to leave the map. They deliver the collected biomass to the mother`s brain.

At the start of the game, three body tokens are placed on the round track. Each time the twitch reaches the mother brain, the body tokens are moved one division up the round track.

When the round counter and the body token are on the same division, the body absorption process begins. Place the mother brain token in the alien pouch. Each body absorbed increases the number of hits needed to take the queen`s health card.

The cult also created four types of special drones:

• Rizun. If the character receives a grievous wound card, they attack a second time.
• Mortars. Sneaky creatures can explode! When the mortar is killed in the compartment, take three alien attack cards. If there is a "Bah!" card among them, play it.
• Flame-throwers. They open fire in return. When a character fires in a corridor, he first loses one health point for each flamethrower in that corridor.
• Panzerniks. Their strong build allows them to protect other aliens. Tankers take the first hit. To kill them in the corridor, you need to hit them twice at the same time, you can only push them out of the tank compartment.

Insider

You carefully move through the corridors of the station. Having explored the next compartment, you are about to move on, when suddenly you hear a quiet sound behind you. With your weapon at the ready, you slowly go out to scout. The newcomer would not sneak up on you like that! A small silhouette can be seen through the metal supports. A person?

The expansion introduces the storyline of a female insider who finds herself at the station and pursues her own goals. You can find it by exploring the station, its components are introduced gradually. The line evolves, introducing new rules and changing the course of the game.

The first time you play a research card with an insider symbol, take the story deck and find all the cards that match the open slot. Play the starting story card - with the lowest number.

The front of the card contains a brief introduction, while the back contains four types of effects: immediate effect, permanent effect, new action, or research effect. Each group of compartment cards is one insider story that unfolds over the course of the game.

On the plot card there may be an instruction to place the insider on the card or reveal her map. The insider card is two-sided: one side identifies a friendly insider, the other a hostile insider. An ally allows players to take additional action cards, while an enemy is treated as a newcomer.

During cooking, your character selection expands to four cards. Replace the five contractor action cards labeled "Contractor: Consultant" with the chosen contractor`s action cards, and take that character`s item cards from the expansion.
