MicroMacro gameplay. City of Evidence

At the beginning of each game, participants must complete the following sequential steps:

• Lay out the city map on a large flat surface or hang it on the wall. (The card must be well lit and all elements depicted on it visible to all participants. Do not place or place anything on the card so as not to accidentally cover a location or evidence that is important to the current case.)
• Select the envelope with the case cards. (The cards contain all the information you will need during the investigation.)
• Identify the Principal Investigator. (This participant will open and read the cards, as well as check the correctness of the answers).
• Take the top card of the deck. (It will introduce you to the main characters and circumstances of the case, and you will also find the first task on its front side.)

You can start! During the game, players will explore the map, trying to fulfill the conditions of the current task, find the necessary evidence and gradually assemble the pieces of the puzzle into something coherent. If the participants believe that the answer to the next task has been found, the Chief Investigator looks at the information on the back of the card to confirm or deny the guess:

• if the decision turned out to be correct, the Chief Investigator will read a new case card to the participants;
• if the solution is wrong, the team continues the search, but without the Chief Investigator (because he knows the right answer).

If your team has already solved several cases without much difficulty, pay attention to the advanced version of the game. According to its rules, you will have to solve the next case, relying only on the information that is available on the first card. And remember! Local residents believe that you are the one who can stop the wave of crime that has engulfed the city!
