Board Game Level UP
Level UP is a fun talking game for 2-10 players from the Igromag publishing house, which can be combined with any type of leisure, even with other board games. Participants receive tokens with tasks, complete them by prompting someone to take a certain action, and receive points for this.
The Level UP game is made in Ukrainian and English, which eliminates the language barrier and allows you to expand the circle of players by inviting foreign friends and acquaintances. The bilingual nature of the box and components makes the game a suitable gift/souvenir for foreigners who like simple rules and social interaction in game form.
How to play Level UP?
Level UP is a unique game with tasks, because the tasks must be performed not by yourself, but with the participation of others. The highlight of Level UP is that the party does not require full concentration on the game, on the contrary - because the players who manage to find the right moment and achieve what they want without others realizing that this was the plan, gain levels!
At the beginning of the evening in the circle of friends, colleagues or new acquaintances, each participant receives a bag with 3 tasks, and after that the evening continues as if nothing had happened, according to the usual communication. Tasks are simple, such as "Encourage someone...":
- show the "like" gesture;
- tell about your last outing;
- whisper something.
It may happen that the task will be completed by itself, but this does not count!
The player must push his "victim" to take the necessary actions! Hints, provocations, humor, tricks, charisma — just to say the least. If the player succeeds, he shouts "Level up!", receives a new level and a new task. The evening continues and with it - an exciting game.
At the end of the evening, the player with the highest level is the winner. If desired, it is with this title that he should now be glorified. "Grandmaster of Influence" sounds great, doesn`t it?
As for the scoring rules, there is an option for those who appreciate simplicity and for those who like a little more calculation. In the first option, each completed task is rewarded with a new level, in the second, the number of earned points depends on whether the "victim" split the "hunter`s" intentions. Too obvious provocations can even deduct points.
What`s more, for alcohol games there is an option of corresponding "fines". The player drinks a "penalty" if his motivation for certain actions has been exposed. Of course, a person who, through his insensitivity to manipulation, allowed himself to earn a Level up, will also receive a punishment in the form of an extra drink.
