A quick creative game about associative connections, the author of which is the Ukrainian game designer Oleksandr Nevsky.
Association game
The game provides 2 modes - competitive (each for himself) and cooperative (all together). Free electronic application "LinkUs" used as a timer.
Before the start of the game, the card deck is shuffled. Game participants receive 2 random cards from the deck.
Competitive game mode
The first player reveals the top card from the deck. The app starts a timer. The first player chooses one of his cards and explains to the other players how one of the objects on the selected card is related to another object on the open card. If he manages to convince the majority of players, he puts his card on top of the exposed card and draws a new one from the deck.
Then the next player goes clockwise. He does the same thing, but instead of opening a new card from the deck, he uses the card laid out by the previous player. He cannot choose an image that was used by a previous player.
If the time runs out or the player cannot establish an associative connection between the images, he puts one of his cards in front of him. This is a penalty card. This player becomes the first player, draws cards and restarts the timer.
They play until someone gets the third penalty card. The player with the least number of penalty cards wins.
Cooperative game mode
Players act together. After starting the co-op timer in the app, they try to play as many cards as possible while explaining their associations. Less than 10 cards is a bad result, and more than 20 is simply fantastic.
