Creation of sculptures of feathered snakes
Coatle board game transports participants to an Aztec sculptor tournament. During the game, they will build coatal sculptures out of colorful heads, tails and body segments and earn points based on the Prophecy and Temple cards played. The player with the most points wins the game and becomes the High Priest of the Aztecs.
Game flow
Participants walk in turn, clockwise. In his turn, the active player:
- Takes parts of a coat - head, tail or 2 body segments - from the selected disk cell.
- Takes any number of prophecy cards from the stock / deck. Hand limit - 5 cards.
- Creates new or continues started coats by attaching body parts. A player may place prophecy cards next to an unfinished coatl if it meets the requirements on the cards. A coatl is considered complete if it has a head, at least 1 body segment and a tail. For him, you need to play at least 1 prophecy card. A maximum of 4 played prophecy cards and 1 temple card can lie near the coat.
End of the game
The game ends when:
- one of the players completes his third coat;
- body segments end.
Participants receive points for completed coatleys according to the prophecy and temple cards laid out next to them. The player with the most points is the winner.
