A CLASSIC WORD EXPLANATION GAME
This is a creative board game for a large company, which was invented in 1995 and has already become a real classic. Participants are invited to compete in explaining and guessing words. The game includes a lot of cards - eight words on each. The players` successes are recorded on a special track. This game will not only help you have fun, but it can also be incredibly useful when learning a foreign language if the players agree to explain the words in the same language.
GAME PROCESS
The participants in the game are divided into teams, there must be at least two people in each team. The teams take turns. The explainer takes the cards. The track divisions have numbers: the number that the chip occupies on the distribution is the number of words on the cards that need to be explained in other words. Then the hourglass turns over, and the presenter begins to explain the words, and the members of his team try to guess as many words as possible in one minute.
PROGRESSING ON THE TRACK
For each word guessed, the team`s chip advances one division. Mistakes by the explainer and unguessed cards force them to go back. If the team passes through the dark divisions, the robbery begins in the next round. Six cards are explained without the hourglass. All teams participate in the guessing. Thus, the team chips gradually move forward. The team whose chip reaches the finish line first wins the game.
